Coming in the door at City on a Hill, you were greeted by some of my wonderful board which happen to be 3 guys on the board plus my husband. They directed you to class and welcomed you in and brought a smile to your face. Then sat down as Susan instructed us on her personal secrets to success for her art quilts and her cards and bookmarks.
Dandelion Lessons is all about community and bringing people together who are like minded. This was a special night. Susan commented that it was a calm and fun night for her which I am pleased with. Some students came on a scholarship from some generous donors.
One student commented, ” The bookmark class was fun. Your non profit is amazing and it has given me access to something I never thought I’d be able to afford to learn. It means more to me than you will ever know.”
This ministry is surprising me at every turn. Hebrews 13:2 says that we should not forget to entertain strangers for some may have entertained angels unaware.
I think angels like bookmarks.
